I am a
Highly Sensitive Person.
By definition, a highly sensitive person (HSP) is someone with a sensitive nervous system who is more aware of subtleties in their surroundings and is easily overwhelmed in stimulating environments.
If you are one of the 20-30% of the population that shares this characteristic, you are well aware that it can be a mixed blessing.
If however, you are unfamiliar with this distinction, common benefits include creativity, thoroughness, and the desire to nurture.
In my case, these attributes merge with my formal training in adult education to support and enhance my lifelong love for learning as well as my passion for helping others learn.
As a result, my educational content, including the courses that follow, are based upon the principles of experiential learning.
What this means is that as a potential consumer of my content, you will learn how to learn from your own experience and also the life’s lessons learned by people like you.
These courses do not deliver either a one-size-fits-all solution or an information dump.
Each and every course will help you learn not only learn the best experience-based practices on a specific theme or topic but also how to apply these practices to your own unique situation.
And by way of added value, you can modify the experiential learning methodology from these courses to learn from your own experience—your own as well as the experience of others—in other aspects of your life.
My ultimate hope is that you will enjoy and benefit from the following courses as much as I enjoyed creating them.
